The Challenge We needed to create a brand that demystified Crystal, making it easy for organizations to understand its radical potential at a glance.
The solution
Crystal DBA’s new brand was built on a foundation of clear, concise messaging.
Features are explained simply, focusing heavily on the value that they provide instead of on dense, technical detail.
The logo
Inspired by the brand’s name, our team developed a logo that frames Crystal DBA as the North Star for developers and organizations: an ever-present guide in any situation.
Brought to life in luminous purple, the logo is used as a design mechanic throughout the website.
Above the fold, interconnected crystals come together to reflect the connected and automated nature of the product, with a single glowing crystal drawing focus.
By incorporating the logo into the overall design, we created a consistent and memorable visual identity throughout the site.

For the site, we chose a bold design system designed to set Crystal DBA apart from the usual aesthetics of the database industry.
Eye-catching graphics, code snippets, icons, and graphs were all created to support the core messaging.
These design elements used a bold, minimalistic style to make features and benefits as easily understood as possible.
